The challenge

Spanish cookie brand Tosta Rica asked us to improve the visual assets of their website, www.mytostarica.com/es . Their e-commerce site specifically sells personalized cookies featuring the customer’s name, chosen image and targeted message. This product, which works very well as a gift, needed to be explained visually to capture the attention of customers using Google Shopping.

The solution

Each image was studied one by one to determine if they were communicating the necessary information.

We studied the particularities of the new website to create still life images that were more visible and attractive for the My Tosta Rica site and other channels (Google Shopping, Social Media).

Each image was studied individually to determine if they were communicating the necessary information, and if there were any key messages that were not being communicated. From here, we engaged the Optopus 3D department to create photographic quality images using computer generated imagery (CGI).

In addition, we optimized the existing product images with techniques such as change of perspective, lighting and finish to improve their visibility at the digital point of sale.

The result

Optimizing the product images, changing the visuals of some purchase processes and explaining them made it clearer what the product consists of, and what the purchase process involves: such as how to print an image, name or message on the cookie.
All of this helped to generate more trust, as the key sales messages were delivered more clearly.

We also ensured that the main images in Google Shopping ‘explain’ as clearly as possible what the product consists of, while following Google’s regulations which do not accept – for example – logos or text in the primary image.

In this way, we prevented Google shopping from penalizing Tosta Rica by deactivating the product sales page. We were able to make the product more visible, and increase sales.
